The Affinity String Quartet

Soloist:            Lotte Betts-Dean (mezzo-soprano)

 

The Affinity Quartet was formed in 2014 when Nicholas Waters, Iona Tache, William Clark and Mee Na Lojewski were students of the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM). In 2015 they completed an ANAM Fellowship and won first prize in the ANAM Chamber Music Competition. In 2016 the quartet received an Australia Council for the Arts Grant and E.V. Llewellyn Scholarship for quartet development in UK and Germany.

Australian mezzo soprano Lotte Betts-Dean has been based in London since 2014 and works internationally. Her performance experience encompasses contemporary repertoire, early music, art song, opera, experimental music and non-classical collaborations.
